Books 2009: November Update

Total to date: 77 books (9 books this month)

The 2009 Support Your Local Library Challenge total to date: 49 books (six books this month)

A list of all the books I've read to date (from 01 January 2008) can be found at Library Thing.

Favourite book of the month? Actually I don't have one...

Currently reading: Shadow Magic (Jaida Jones and Danielle Bennett)

And the books I'm most looking forward to reading this month?

* Blaze of Memory (Nalini Singh)

* Corambis (Sarah Monette)

* Daughter of the Forest (Juliet Marillier)

* Fragile Eternity (Melissa Marr)

* What Remains of Heaven (CS Harris)

What did you read last month?

  1. I want to read Blaze of Memory this month too!

    I think my fav read for Nov were Faith and Fidelity and Bound to Please :)

  2. Oh, good! Someone who read the same number of books that I did this month. ;)

    I probably liked The Fallen the best out of all the books I read this month...

  3. Mandi - I look forward to hearing what you think of Blaze of Memory. I have it at home but haven't been in the right mood for it (if that makes sense). Am hoping that will change this month :) Bound to Please? I don't think I've heard of that *races to Google*

    LOL heidenkind. I must confess that three of the nine books were yaoi manga and so faster to read than the others. I'm very tempted to try The Fallen after reading your review.

  4. How do you like Shadow Magic so far? I haven't picked that one up yet.

    Looking forward to seeing what you think of Corambis too. :) Oh, and Daughter of the Forest; it's been on my TBR pile for a little while now.

  5. WRT Shadow Magic Kristen - so far so good :) It feel a little slower, but that may be because I'm drowning in family matters ATM and so finding little time to read :(

    I'm made a deal with myself over Corambis. I'm not allowed to read it UNTIL I've written up the review for The Mirador. I have it all there (roughly), I just need to write it. And since I've come that far...well, let's just say it would be nice to review all of them. I should try and write more reviews...it's just hard :) I'm in awe of all those that review on their blogs - I don't know how you do it!

  6. I haven't read Blaze of Memory yet either! I just bought it a day or two ago. I hope to read it in December, too, but it's usually my slow reading month, so I don't know if I'll get to it.

  7. I read 27 books in November but my TBR pile is still 100+. Two of my favourite reads of November were by Shelly Laurenston - The Mane Squeeze and Hunting Season. I just love the humour in her books!
